  • Do not eat prior to receiving massage
  • Drink lots of water afterwards
  • Breathe deeply and fully throughout the massage
  • Give feedback on pressure and tender areas
  • If you are taking anticoagulants such as Coumadin and bruise very easily, let us know
  • Don't help the therapist move a limb; your job is to relax
  • Maintain scheduled appointments as necessary.
