"I have been suffering with bouts of dizziness for a few years now. The first few times would have me totally bedridden and would last a few days, until I had some Antivert on hand. That wouldn't cure the problem, but would at least allow me to function. I went to an ear, nose & throat specialist who diagnosed my problem as Meniere's Disease. Though I was under a lot of stress, I still didn't think that was the answer. The problem was so bad that I could not longer put my head back when getting my hair washed at the beauty shop for fear of starting an attack, which did happen once. My problem seemed to be seasonal and especially when my sinuses were at their worst. I was afraid to lay flat on my back for fear of starting a spell. Lately, I did not have the bedridden attacks, but the dizziness would occur when I would lie down at night and only on one side. The dizziness wouldn't last for long, but it was annoying. I told my doctor and he said I might have to live with this condition, but he would send me to therapy, as he had just read about it. I was sent to Max Well Physical Therapy on Hill Road, as the therapist there is the only one who specializes in my condition. She asked a lot of questions, then took me into a room where, after making me lie down, angled my head and neck in such a manner, that she could reproduce my symptoms. The best part was that she diagnosed what was happening and was able to cure my problem in one visit! I am so thankful that my doctor read the pamphlet on what Max Well had to offer and there was an explanation to my problem as well as a cure. Thanks Bev!." Marilyn C. 12/6/06
