"When my sore heel started interfering with tennis, I decided it was time to take it seriously. Initially it was sore enough to cause limping only after tennis, when warming up I had been able to function normally on the court.  When the soreness persisted even after warm up, I sought help. With the advice of the therapist, I cut back to playing doubles twice a week and attended therapy 3 times a week. The heat therapy and massages were most beneficial to ease soreness and inflammation.  The stretches and exercise I learned have strengthened the surrounding muscle.  My heel is not back 100%, but it continues to improve."  Mary M.
