Lymphedema is caused when the lymphatic vessels are damaged, impaired, or removed.  Our therapists have developed a comprehensive treatment program to address problems associated with lymphedema resulting from surgery, radiation, or hereditary factors.  Max Well therapists will develop a treatment plan to educate you about lymphedema, develop a treament plan for proper skin care, exercise to promote adequate lymph flow, stretches to improve muscular contractions and joint mobility.
